1. Consent to Contact

By completing your purchase, you consent to Alphacrane Pty Ltd contacting you by email to provide information necessary to deliver your coaching program. This may include payment confirmation, digital-platform access, preparation instructions, coaching-session details, reminders and other important information relating to your enrolment.

Operational communications relating to a program you have purchased are separate from optional marketing communications.

For information about how we collect, use and protect your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

2. Important Email Note

Confirmation emails, digital-platform access details and other important program communications may occasionally arrive in your spam, junk or promotions folder.

To avoid missing important updates:

  • Check your spam, junk or promotions folder after completing your purchase
  • Add [email protected] to your contacts or safe-sender list
  • If you haven’t received an expected confirmation email within a few minutes, please contact [email protected]

3. After Payment Is Received

Once your payment has been received, we will issue confirmation of your purchase and provide the information required for your particular coaching program.

Private coaching

For private coaching, we will generally:

  • Issue a receipt and/or tax invoice
  • Contact you to coordinate coaching dates and times
  • Request relevant information to help tailor the coaching to your needs

Small-cohort coaching

For scheduled small-cohort coaching programs, we will generally:

  • Confirm your place once full payment has been received
  • Issue a receipt and/or tax invoice
  • Provide information about program preparation and participation requirements
  • Provide access to any included digital learning according to the schedule advertised for that program
  • Provide links and joining instructions for the scheduled live coaching sessions

The dates, inclusions and access period advertised on the relevant program page form part of your enrolment.

4. Confidentiality in Coaching, Training and Consultancy

We understand that our work often involves confidential discussions, sensitive organisational matters, and commercially sensitive information. Whether you engage us for coaching, training, consultancy or advisory support, all personal and professional details you share with Alphacrane Intercultural Specialists are treated with the strictest confidence.

Unless we are required by law to disclose it (e.g. to prevent serious harm or fulfil a legal obligation), this information will never be shared with third parties without your permission. Access is restricted to the relevant facilitator or consultant (Craig Shim), and information is securely stored and handled with care.

Small-cohort coaching

Small-cohort coaching may involve participants discussing genuine organisational situations, experiences and challenges.

To support a trusted professional environment:

  • Participants are expected to treat information shared by other participants as confidential
  • Participants should avoid sharing unnecessary identifying information about individual customers, visitors, employees, volunteers or other third parties
  • Participants must not record live coaching sessions unless Alphacrane and all affected participants have expressly agreed in advance
  • Alphacrane may decline to record a small-cohort coaching program where confidentiality and candid discussion are important to the learning experience

The confidentiality obligations in this section continue after the program has concluded.

5. Coaching Access and Usage

The format, number and duration of coaching sessions are those specified on the relevant program or checkout page at the time of purchase.

Private coaching

Private coaching may be provided:

  • One-on-one
  • To a private group or team, where agreed at the time of purchase

Unless otherwise agreed, private virtual team coaching is limited to a maximum of six participants.

Small-cohort coaching

For small-cohort programs:

  • Each enrolment is for the named participant
  • Places are not transferable or shareable unless expressly stated otherwise for the particular program
  • Participants are expected to meet the participation requirements shown on the relevant program page
  • Live session dates and times are fixed unless Alphacrane advises otherwise
  • Missed sessions do not entitle the participant to a replacement session, private catch-up session, refund or partial credit
  • Where live coaching sessions are advertised as unrecorded, no recording will be provided

Where digital learning is included, the access period will be stated on the relevant program page. Access ends at the conclusion of that advertised period.

All coaching materials, frameworks, videos and other program content remain the intellectual property of Alphacrane Pty Ltd. They may not be copied, recorded, shared, distributed, republished or repurposed for commercial use without written permission.

6. Pricing, GST, and Quotation Validity

Pricing is generally shown in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices may be stated either inclusive or exclusive of GST, and the applicable treatment will be clearly identified on the relevant program, proposal or checkout page.

For selected products, you may be offered the option to purchase in your local currency (e.g. USD or GBP). In these cases, prices will be clearly labelled on the relevant checkout page.

  • If the course is purchased and accessed from outside Australia by a non-Australian entity, GST may not apply.

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our preferred payment provider.

  • Where a formal quote is provided, it is valid for 30 days from the issue date.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy - Private Coaching (including small private groups)

For clarity, ‘Private Coaching’ may include one-to-one sessions or small private group sessions (up to six participants) arranged by a single client organisation. This is distinct from scheduled small-cohort coaching programs, where participants may enrol separately and fixed program dates and separate cancellation conditions apply.

Refunds

  • If you cancel in writing more than 5 business days before your first scheduled coaching session, we will refund your payment minus any transaction fees (e.g. credit card fees) and reasonable preparation costs already incurred.
  • If you cancel less than 5 business days before the first session, refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule a coaching session with more than 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

  • If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled session or do not attend (“no-show”), the session will be forfeited.

All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

8. Cancellation, Refund & Attendance Policy – Small-Cohort Coaching

Small-cohort coaching programs involve a limited number of participants, scheduled live sessions and advance preparation. Your enrolment reserves one of the available places in the cohort.

Unless different cancellation conditions are clearly stated on the relevant program page:

  • If you cancel in writing more than 10 business days before the first scheduled live coaching session, you may request a refund, less any non-refundable transaction fees and any reasonable costs already incurred in providing program access or materials
  • Cancellations received 10 business days or fewer before the first scheduled live coaching session are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances
  • No refund is available after the first live coaching session has commenced except where required by law

Where digital learning or other program resources have already been provided before a cancellation request is received, Alphacrane may take reasonable account of the value of access or services already supplied when determining any refund.

Participant changes and transfers

Places in a small-cohort program are allocated to the participant named at enrolment and are not transferable to another person unless the relevant program expressly allows substitutions or Alphacrane agrees otherwise in writing.

This is particularly important where participants have been selected according to program suitability or overall cohort composition.

Attendance and missed sessions

Participants are responsible for checking the advertised program dates before enrolling.

Where a program consists of multiple sessions that build on one another, participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and complete any required preparation.

If you miss a live coaching session:

  • No refund or partial credit is provided for the missed session
  • A separate private catch-up session is not included
  • A recording will not be provided where the program has been advertised as unrecorded
  • You will retain access to any included digital learning for the access period advertised for the program

Cancellation by Alphacrane

A small-cohort program may be subject to a minimum number of enrolments.

If Alphacrane cancels the entire program, including because the required minimum cohort is not reached, participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that program.

Where reasonably practicable, Alphacrane may first offer an alternative program date or another suitable option. You are not required to accept the alternative and may instead choose the applicable refund.

Changes to scheduled sessions

If Alphacrane needs to change a scheduled live coaching session because of illness, emergency or circumstances outside reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement session.

A change to one scheduled session does not automatically constitute cancellation of the entire program.

Notification requirements

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

These conditions apply specifically to scheduled small-cohort coaching. Private coaching is covered by Section 7.

Important legal proviso

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

9. Risk-Free Guarantee (Not Applicable)

The 14-day money-back guarantee offered on eligible self-paced online courses does not apply to private coaching or scheduled small-cohort coaching programs. Coaching involves reserved session capacity, advance preparation and, in the case of small-cohort programs, a strictly limited number of available places.

However, if you have concerns about your coaching experience, please contact Craig Shim directly at [email protected]. I’ll do my best to address the issue promptly and fairly.

Any applicable cancellation and refund rights are instead governed by Sections 7 and 8 above, together with any rights that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Disclaimer
